It's October, which means Halloween is right around the corner. Whether you have children or not, it's important to keep the kids in your community safe on this special day. You are bound to see trick-or-treaters, especially if you live in a busy residential area or an apartment complex. We've compiled two lists of safety tips for drivers and parents/children for the spooky holiday. For Drivers - Reduce Your Speed – The most important driving rule on Halloween night is to drive slowly. Kids can be walking and coming from all directions. Be Extra Attentative and Avoid Major Distractions (Phone, Eating/Drinking, etc.) - You should keep your eyes peeled on the road, and your hands should be on the steering wheel at all times.
